Artists In Recovery is a group of people who empathize and seek to help those who are struggling with substance dependence and other challenges to mental and physical wellness. For some, this means intervening in the court system to advocate for treatment rather than incarceration.  For others, we simply provide meaningful assistance with issues surrounding poverty, homelessness, mental health challenges, unemployment and addiction.

We believe in second chances and the opportunity to find happiness and meaning in life, regardless of socio-economic background or previous mistakes made.  We have had the privilege of seeing families come back together, broken spirits lifted, shattered lives mended and transformed into thriving members of society.

We are people who take a creative approach to life and life's problems. We are people who share the art of our lives with others - the chaos, the beauty, the desperation and the triumphs. We are in homeless shelters, jails, mental health facilities and youth organizations. We bring the universal language of art, music, care and compassion to our work.

Good people doing good work for good reason.
